Introduction: This will be a series of daily meditations. A total of 365 meditations, one for each day. Each meditation is about simplifying and understanding our lives.

Out of clutter, find simplicity.
~ Albert Einstein

Many of us associate our worth with our possessions. But I’ve found the opposite to be true. Our worth is defined by our lack of possessions. The less things we attach to ourselves, the more free we can be.

A little bit here, and a little bit there, the things we add, begin to take away from our life. The more we have, the less space we have.

When we add things to our lives, we exchange it for a part of ourselves. We attach our space to these things. After sometime, these things start to become clutter. This clutter expands into our desks, rooms, houses, cars, our minds, and then slowly begins to overtakes our lives.

The more things we have, the less we can be. Our ability to be happy, creative and free is lost, when we trade a part of ourselves for the attachments we hold.

Freedom will only happen when our lives are not tied down by things. Then the mind can explore freely and wander into creativity, happiness and simplicity.

The more you have, the more you are occupied.
The less you have, the more free you are.”
~ Mother Teresa
